Return of the Nixon Garden Club

While cleaning up “the Vault” at Nixon City Hall numerous items of interest have been discovered. Did you know that in 1952 the City of Nixon had an active Mimosa Garden Club and that Mildred Cook was the First President from 1952 to 1954? There must have been an annual yearbook published because an award was found for that specific category. We will continue to research the guidelines in order to uncover the beautiful legacy left for us. Please keep watching this website for further information and exciting news.
