Pursuant to Executive Order 29 issued on July 2nd, 2020 by the Office of the Governor Greg Abbott, the following will be effective beginning FRIDAY, JULY 3RD, 2020 at 12:01PM:
There will now be a Statewide order requiring face coverings for all residents in Texas counties with 20 or more confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Locations where face coverings must be worn, covering both MOUTH AND NOSE, include:
-While outdoors in public spaces/areas.
-While inside a business or a building that is open to the public.
-When social distancing is not possible.
The order also reduces the number of attendees for outdoor gatherings and events to ten (10) individuals. For gatherings in excess of ten (10) individuals, prior approval must be obtained from local officials.
Violation of Governor Abbott’s Executive Order 29 is punishable by a $250.00 fine after an initial warning is given.

Let us all work together as a community to slow the spread of COVID-19. In addition to wearing face coverings, please stay home if possible; practice social distancing of at least six (6) feet; and wash/sanitize your hands often for at least twenty (20) seconds.
